Fight Like Erin Night
In support of Erin and the Matlick family, Logan Jr High will be hosting a "Fight Like Erin" night during their boys basketball games on Tuesday, December 12. The 6th grade game will tip off at 4:30 pm at Logan Jr High, and 7th grade will tip off at 6:00 pm at Princeton High School (8th grade game will follow). There will be a lot of fun at this event, and multiple ways to show support for the Matlick family including a silent auction, 50/50 and much more.

The 49th Annual Kaiser-Kesseler Holiday Tournament will be held at Logan
Junior High School on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
This tournament consists of three 8th grade boys basketball teams. The
tournament will be round robin with results based on best record. If a tie
exists, the fewest points allowed will be the tie breaker.

Christmas for Kids
Logan Junior High is holding an Advisory competition to collect monetary donations from Monday, November 13th through Friday, November 17th.
There will be a food prize awarded to the Advisory from each grade level that donates the most money. **Please collect just money, not toys.
On Wednesday, students can bring $1.00 to have the opportunity to chew gum. This money will go in a general collection and NOT be added to each Advisory total.

Zane Britton, a sixth grader at Logan, was chosen by the University of Illinois Football Program as their Fan of the Game! Zane got to travel to Champaign and meet Head Coach Bret Bielema! He also had a video made of him that was broadcast in the stadium and on tv. Congratulations Zane, we are proud of you!!!


Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, October 10th from 4:30 - 6:30, the first ever "Pack the Place" at Logan Junior High will kick off! This event will be a chance to highlight some of the awesome clubs and extracurriculars Logan has to offer!

This week's Advisory Challenge (where students typically compete against other grade level advisories) was to use 10 or more students to spell the word, "LIONS" with their bodies. Students voted, and the overall winner, by the slimmest of margins, is the 7th grade! Great teamwork by all contestants!


Today's State Finals Softball game has been postponed.


Congratulations to the Logan Softball team on their Sectional Championship! The Lions beat Kewanee Wethersfield by a score of 9-1 to advance to the State Tournament. Logan (17-2-0) will face Beardstown MS (18-1-0) on Friday, September 22 at 10:00 AM at Champions Fields in Normal, IL. We are proud of you! Go Lions!
