Zane Britton, a sixth grader at Logan, was chosen by the University of Illinois Football Program as their Fan of the Game! Zane got to travel to Champaign and meet Head Coach Bret Bielema! He also had a video made of him that was broadcast in the stadium and on tv. Congratulations Zane, we are proud of you!!!

Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, October 10th from 4:30 - 6:30, the first ever "Pack the Place" at Logan Junior High will kick off! This event will be a chance to highlight some of the awesome clubs and extracurriculars Logan has to offer!
Come check it out and help us PACK THE PLACE while supporting this awesome group of students!

This week's Advisory Challenge (where students typically compete against other grade level advisories) was to use 10 or more students to spell the word, "LIONS" with their bodies. Students voted, and the overall winner, by the slimmest of margins, is the 7th grade! Great teamwork by all contestants!

Today's State Finals Softball game has been postponed.

Congratulations to the Logan Softball team on their Sectional Championship! The Lions beat Kewanee Wethersfield by a score of 9-1 to advance to the State Tournament. Logan (17-2-0) will face Beardstown MS (18-1-0) on Friday, September 22 at 10:00 AM at Champions Fields in Normal, IL. We are proud of you! Go Lions!

Congratulations to the Logan Softball team on their win Saturday over Mendota Holy Cross! They will face Peru Parkside on Tuesday, September 12th at 4:15 in Wenona for the regional championship game. Good Luck!
