The PES PTO is hosting the Harlem Wizards for their fall fundraiser! Come to Pannebaker Gym at Logan Jr. High on Tuesday, October 28th to see your PES teachers play basketball with some of the best. Proceeds from ticket sales will help the PES PTO pay for field trips, teacher stipends, special assemblies, and more. We hope to see you there for a night full of fun and excitement!

Congratulations to Logan Junior High School's very own Music Education teacher, Mr. Steven Olson, who will be appearing on Jeopardy later this month!! The episode will air on Friday, September 19th and then stream on Hulu the next day. There will be a public watch party for anyone who would like to attend on September 20th at 11:00am at the Grace Theater.

Douglas Elementary's staff has been working hard this week and are ready to welcome students back to school! First day for Kindergarten students is Thursday, August 21 while Pre-K students start on Friday, August 22.

Lincoln Elementary had a surprise guest principal in the house today to welcome students back for the 2025-2026 school year. Nintendo World's very own Mario took time out of his busy race schedule to fill in for Mr. Horn today!

Did the start of the school year sneak up on you? If your student still needs a school physical or a sports physical check out this walk in clinic offered at the BCHD & BCFH on August 20th from 1-5pm!

Reminder: All incoming PreK, Kindergarten and 6th graders need a school physical. All students participating in extra curricular activities will need a valid sports physical.

This Parent-Only session is designed just for parents and guardians to learn about the kindergarten experience and receive helpful tips on how to start off the school year.
