Infographic showing headshots of Mr. Daly and Mr. Smith as opponents in the Administrator challenge

Are you ready to rumble? Mr. Smith and Mr. Daly are! The two school administrators have been facing off in regular "Administrator Challenges" for the past couple of years, competing against one another two to three times a year for bragging rights and the Championship Belt.

Truth be told, the real reason for these challenges is to increase school pride, to foster fun and enjoyment, and to bring unity to the Logan Community. While students and staff often choose an administrator to support, the fun remains light-hearted and the cheers remain loud. Our entire Logan community comes together to watch Mr. Smith and Mr. Daly compete in silly challenges that often result in a big mess. Sometimes, all of the students are involved (such as the water balloon challenge, when all students got to throw a water balloon at a specific administrator). Sometimes, the staff are involved (such as when staff members picked a pie to put in the administrator's face, with a point total at the bottom of the pie). It is great fun, and a great way to sustain a positive learning environment.

Going toe to toe and eye to eye (well, sort of), Logan's Principal and Assistant Principal have competed in a total of six challenges since December of 2024. The most recent challenge was a best out of 9 rock, paper, scissor challenge where the loser of each round had their face smashed in a pillow that contained a food item or condiment of the other's choosing.  Ketchup, mustard, maple syrup, chocolate sauce, pudding, cottage cheese, barbeque sauce, ranch dressing, and whipped cream were the options available.  Mr. Smith came out victorious, defeating Mr. Daly 5-4 to reclaim the championship belt back from Mr. Daly.  The series now stands tied at 3-3.
