Congratulations to eighth grader, Eli Cochran for being selected for September's Student Spotlight. We asked Logan Junior High principal, Zach Smith, what made Eli stand out? "Eli is the same always- no matter where he is - in the hallway, in the classroom, at lunch, or with peers. He is kind, considers others first, is respectful, and willing to do whatever is needed to support others and to get the job done.  Eli shows leadership by doing what is expected, being kind, and being a good role model for his peers. He also shows integrity, because he does what is right at all times, even when he may not think anyone is watching. Eli is honest and friendly to all of his peers, and has a way of making people feel seen.  Even when the people around him are making less than stellar choices, Eli can be counted on to make a quality decision. He is a very understanding individual, and he participates very well in class. He asks questions and helps others in class when needed.  Eli shows up as a leader in the classroom, taking the initiative in discussion when no one has stepped forward. Eli always comes in with an upbeat and positive attitude. He is a team player and engaged in what we are doing on a daily basis. He continues to make an incredible impact on our Logan community, and is an awesome example of what it means to be a Logan Lion." Well said, Mr. Smith and Congratulations again to Eli!!
