Princeton Elementary is proud to present fifth grader, Rayelynn Hartman, as our December Student Spotlight. Logan principal, Zach Smith describes Rayelynn as a remarkable student, embodying the highest standards of kindness, consideration, and hard work. She is committed to doing her best and has a great work ethic. In the classroom, Rayelynn consistently shows determination in her own learning, always seeking to understand to the best of her ability, as well as asking great questions to extend her learning, as well as the learning of her peers.Beyond her personal achievements, Rayelynn possesses a generous spirit, always ready to extend a helping hand and support those around her. Her classmates clearly appreciate her generosity and she is well respected as a result. Her leadership qualities shine through her active membership in the Logan Junior High Student Council, where she contributes to the betterment of the school community. Her exceptional empathy is demonstrated by her valuable assistance with the adapted Physical Education class showcasing her profound commitment to inclusivity and peer support. Rayelynn is a compassionate leader and a truly invaluable member of our Logan community.

We are also proud to present fourth grader, Cora Gutshall, as our January Student Spotlight. Lincoln Principal, Joey Horn describes Cora as a bright and kind-hearted 4th grader in Mrs. Patterson's class who is a hard worker with a positive attitude. She consistently gives her best effort in class, shows respect for teachers and classmates, and is always willing to help others.  She goes above and beyond in everything she does.  In addition, Cora demonstrates strong perseverance by never giving up when work feels challenging and is always striving to improve.  She leads by example, whether she’s staying focused on her schoolwork or offering encouragement to a friend.  Her dedication, responsibility and caring nature make her a wonderful role model, and this nomination is a well-deserved celebration of who she is both as a student and a person.
